SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
Effective Date: October 22, 2025
1. SUBSCRIPTIONS
General Information
Certain premium features, episodes, and exclusive content made available through the Service are accessible only through paid access options. Users may access Content either through a subscription or by using the Service’s virtual currency, as described below.
Trial Subscriptions
We may, at our discretion, offer free access to the Content or trial subscriptions that provide temporary access to certain features or premium content within the Service. Trial subscriptions may be free or paid, and the applicable terms and duration of any trial will be clearly disclosed at the time of sign-up or checkout.
If no notice of a trial period is provided during purchase, your subscription will begin immediately without a trial. We reserve the right to determine your eligibility for any trial offer and to limit, suspend, or revoke participation in multiple or repeated trial offers at any time.
AUTOMATIC CONVERSION TO PAID SUBSCRIPTION:
UNLESS YOU CANCEL YOUR TRIAL AT LEAST TWENTY-FOUR (24) HOURS BEFORE THE END OF THE TRIAL PERIOD, YOUR SELECTED PAYMENT METHOD WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE CHARGED THE APPLICABLE SUBSCRIPTION FEE DISPLAYED AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE. THE PAID SUBSCRIPTION WILL BEGIN IMMEDIATELY UPON THE TRIAL’S EXPIRATION AND WILL CONTINUE ON A RECURRING BASIS UNLESS CANCELLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE TERMS.
Subscription Terms and Renewals
When you subscribe to any plan offered through the Service, your subscription will renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (weekly, monthly, annually, or as otherwise selected), unless you cancel your subscription in accordance with these Terms. Subscription pricing may vary based on factors including region, currency, promotional bundle, or subscription duration. Some limited features of the Service may be offered free of charge, but full access to the Content and premium functionality requires a paid subscription.
Content Tiers and Access Levels (Website Purchases Only). The following subscription tiers and content access levels apply exclusively to subscriptions purchased directly through the website(s). These tiers are not available for purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Premium Series Access: Content labelled as “Premium” is available only to users with an active Premium Subscription purchased through the website(s). Premium subscribers receive unlimited access to designated premium video series, episodes, and related features during their active billing period.

VIP Series Access: Content labelled as “VIP” may be available only to users who hold an active VIP subscription purchased through the website(s). A VIP subscription may require maintaining an underlying Premium plan. VIP access represents the highest level of content availability within the Service and may include early-release titles, enhanced streaming quality, exclusive events, or bonus materials.
Supplementary Purchases. In addition to your main subscription, you may have the option to purchase add-on items or services, such as bonus episodes, premium content bundles, or other supplementary features. Add-ons may be one-time purchases through Coin Purchases or recurring charges, depending on the offer. Your main subscription must remain active to access any add-ons that depend on it. Cancelling an add-on does not automatically cancel your primary subscription, and cancelling your main subscription may terminate access to related add-ons at the end of the current billing term.
Automatic Episode Access and Coin Deduction. As part of the normal operation of the Service, episodes within a series may play automatically in sequence once playback begins. Where subsequent episodes require Coins to unlock, the corresponding Coin amount will be automatically deducted from your available balance at the moment the next episode starts. This ensures uninterrupted viewing without requiring separate purchase confirmations for each episode. BY USING THE SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT COINS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY USED TO UNLOCK SUBSEQUENT EPISODES AS PART OF THIS SEQUENTIAL PLAYBACK PROCESS. IF YOUR COIN BALANCE IS INSUFFICIENT TO CONTINUE PLAYBACK, THE SERVICE WILL PAUSE AND PROMPT YOU TO ACQUIRE ADDITIONAL COINS BEFORE RESUMING. ALL COIN DEDUCTIONS MADE THROUGH THIS AUTOMATIC ACCESS PROCESS ARE TREATED AS FINAL COIN PURCHASES AND ARE NON-REFUNDABLE EXCEPT AS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
RENEWAL CHARGES. YOUR PAYMENT METHOD WILL BE CHARGED AUTOMATICALLY WITHIN TWENTY-FOUR (24) HOURS BEFORE THE END OF THE CURRENT SUBSCRIPTION TERM TO ENSURE UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS TO PREMIUM CONTENT. IF YOU CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION LESS THAN TWENTY-FOUR (24) HOURS BEFORE THE RENEWAL DATE, THE CANCELLATION WILL TAKE EFFECT AT THE END OF THE NEXT BILLING PERIOD.
Pricing Changes. We reserve the right to modify subscription fees, billing cycles, or plan features at any time, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. When applicable, advance notice of subscription fee changes may be sent to you, and the updated pricing will apply at the start of the next billing cycle following such notice. By continuing to use the Service after the new pricing takes effect, you agree to the updated subscription fees. If you do not agree with a pricing change, you may cancel your subscription at least twenty-four (24) hours before the end of the current billing period to avoid further charges.
Promotions. From time to time, we may offer promotional discounts or special pricing. Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional pricing applies only to the initial payment period and does not affect subsequent renewals.
No Future Commitments. By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree that your purchase is not contingent upon any future releases, feature updates, or enhancements, nor upon any representations made by Cherry Entertainment Limited or its affiliates.
Coin Purchases, Virtual Currency, and Virtual Goods
The Service may include the use of a virtual currency such as coins, credits, points, or other digital units (“Coins” or “Virtual Currency”) and virtual digital items, including collectibles, rewards, or other in-app assets (“Virtual Goods”). Coins and Virtual Goods may be earned, granted, or purchased within the Service using real currency or through authorized by us in various Service activities, subject to applicable law and these Terms.
Coins may be used to unlock or access specific episodes, series, or Premium / VIP Content on a one-time transactional basis (“Coin Purchases”). The Coin amount required for each item will be clearly displayed before purchase. Once confirmed, a Coin Purchase grants immediate access to the selected Content, which remains viewable according to the Terms. Coins and Coin Purchases may occasionally be offered individually, in bundles, or through promotional campaigns. We may introduce discounted or bonus Coin packages, Content bundles, or limited-time access events, each governed by the specific terms of the promotion. All Coin Purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law or otherwise determined by the Company in its sole discretion.
You are granted only a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable licence to use Coins and Virtual Goods solely within the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT COINS AND VIRTUAL GOODS HAVE NO REAL-WORLD MONETARY VALUE, DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL CURRENCY OR PROPERTY, AND ARE NOT REDEEMABLE FOR CASH OR ANY TANGIBLE CONSIDERATION. YOU DO NOT ACQUIRE OWNERSHIP RIGHTS IN OR TO ANY COINS OR VIRTUAL GOODS, REGARDLESS OF THE TERMINOLOGY USED TO DESCRIBE THE TRANSACTION. ANY BALANCE DISPLAYED IN YOUR ACCOUNT REPRESENTS A LIMITED LICENCE RIGHT, NOT A STORED-VALUE ACCOUNT OR DEPOSIT, AND THE COMPANY IS NOT A BANK OR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION. COINS AND VIRTUAL GOODS CANNOT BE TRANSFERRED, SOLD, EXCHANGED, OR USED OUTSIDE THE SERVICE EXCEPT WHERE EXPRESSLY AUTHORIZED BY THE COMPANY.
We reserve the absolute right, at any time and in its sole discretion, to manage, regulate, modify, control, suspend, or discontinue the availability, functionality, or pricing of Coins, Coin Purchases, and Virtual Goods as it deems necessary for business, technical, or legal reasons. We shall have no liability to you or any third party for the exercise of such rights, and all transactions involving Coins or Virtual Goods are final and non-refundable except where required by law or otherwise determined by us.
Unless expressly authorized within the Service, the transfer, exchange, gifting, or resale of Coins or Virtual Goods is strictly prohibited. Coins and Virtual Goods may be used only within the Service, and any attempt to trade or transfer them outside the Service is void and may result in the immediate termination of your Account. You may not sell, redeem, or otherwise transfer Coins or Virtual Goods to us, to other users, or to any third party.
All Coins and Virtual Goods are subject to forfeiture without compensation if your Account is terminated or suspended for violating these Terms, if we discontinue the Service or any part thereof, if fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity is detected, or if your Account remains inactive for twelve (12) months or more. Upon the termination of your Account or these Terms, all unused Coins and Virtual Goods will automatically expire and cannot be redeemed, refunded, or credited.
Nothing in this section limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection laws.
Billing
By completing a purchase or activating a subscription through the Service, you authorize us or our partners acting as Merchant of Record, if applicable, to charge the payment method you provide at checkout or at the conclusion of any applicable trial period. Accepted payment methods include credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other methods that may be made available from time to time. If you subscribe or make a purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, payment will be processed directly by the respective platform, and the charge will appear under your App Store or Google Play account upon purchase confirmation. For subscriptions or purchases made directly via our website(s), payment will be processed through our authorized payment processor(s) or Merchant of Record Partners, using the method you selected during checkout. You represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and agree to keep your billing information accurate and up to date. If your payment method is declined or expires, we may suspend or terminate access to your subscription or purchased content until valid billing details are provided.
Non-Refundable Transactions. Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated in these Terms, all payments, subscriptions, Coin Purchases, and Content transactions are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable.
Validation and Verification. A small temporary validation charge or pre-authorization hold may be applied to verify the validity of your selected payment method. This charge is not a fee and will be automatically reversed or refunded once verification is complete.
Payment Disputes. If you believe a billing charge is incorrect, you must notify us in writing at support@cherry-entertainment.com within fourteen (14) calendar days from the transaction date. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of your right to dispute the charge. Submitting a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us to resolve the issue may result in suspension or termination of your Account.
Refunds
Refunds, where permitted, are not automatic and evaluated individually in accordance with applicable law and these Terms. Refund eligibility depends on the platform used for purchase and is subject to the specific conditions set out below. Approved refunds are not immediate; please allow up to fourteen (14) business days for the funds to appear in your Account, depending on your financial institution’s processing time.
By submitting a refund request, you acknowledge that only one refund may be issued per transaction. If you request a refund directly from us, you agree not to file a duplicate claim or chargeback through your payment provider unless your initial request has been denied. In the event that duplicate refunds are issued, we may coordinate with your payment provider to reverse any excess credit.
Approved refunds will be issued in the same currency and through the same payment method originally used, unless this is not reasonably possible, in which case we may issue the refund through an alternative method at its discretion.
Purchases Made Through the Website(s). For subscriptions or purchases completed directly through our websites, refunds are limited and may be granted only in the following circumstances: where required under applicable consumer-protection law (for example, statutory “cooling-off” periods in certain jurisdictions); or where a confirmed technical defect originating from the Service materially prevents your access or use. To assess eligibility, you must provide sufficient details and documentation of the issue. A refund will be considered only after our technical review confirms that the malfunction was reproducible and attributable to the Service.
Purchases Through App Store or Google Play. If your subscription or purchase was made via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, all billing, cancellations, and refund decisions are managed solely by those platforms under their respective policies. You must contact the relevant store directly to request a refund. We have no authority to approve, deny, or process refunds for third-party platform transactions.
United States Consumers. Residents of California or Connecticut may cancel a subscription until midnight of the third business day following purchase and receive a full refund, provided there has been no breach of these Terms or unauthorized use of the Service during that period.
Non-Refundable Transactions. Except where expressly stated in these Terms or required by law, all purchases are final. Refunds will not be provided for:

unused subscription time, remaining Coin, Virtual Currency or Virtual Goods balances, or other virtual currency;

Content that has been accessed, streamed, or downloaded; or
-
Account terminated or suspended for violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to refuse or revoke refunds in cases of abuse, fraud, or misuse of the refund process. Nothing in this section limits or excludes any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
CANCELLATION POLICY
TO PREVENT AUTO-RENEWAL AND AVOID THE BILLING OF THE SUBSCRIPTION FEES FOR THE NEXT SUBSCRIPTION TERM, YOU MUST CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION BEFORE THE CURRENT SUBSCRIPTION TERM ENDS.
IMPORTANT NOTE: UNINSTALLING THE APP DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION. TO STOP RECURRING CHARGES, YOU MUST ACTIVELY CANCEL THE AUTO-RENEWAL THROUGH YOUR ACCOUNT SETTINGS.
For Website Purchases:
Сancel your subscription purchased on the applicable website in your account:

icon);
● Fill in your email which was used to activate the subscription;
● Log in to your email and find a letter from us;
● Click on the “Sign in to CherryShort” and then click on the profile icon (right next to the “Contact
Us” icon, previously where the “Sign In” button was placed);
● Click on the “Unsubscribe” option.
For App Store Purchases: If you subscribed or started a trial through the App Store, manage your subscription settings within your Apple Account. Ensure cancellation is completed at least 24 hours before the trial or current subscription term ends. For more information, visit Apple’s support page on managing subscriptions.
For Google Play Purchases: If you subscribed or started a trial through Google Play, manage your subscription settings within your Google Account.
